Wendy is here every day to help students. She is responsible for the pastoral care of all students, encouraging a balance between academic, cultural, sporting and social activities.
Wendy’s experience working in independent boarding schools throughout both Victoria and Queensland has enabled her to build on her rural Victorian upbringing, aiming to strengthen educational opportunities, especially for students from remote, rural and regional areas. Most recently she was awarded her Master of Education (Guidance and Counselling). You can talk to Wendy about any concerns you may have, either personally or academically.
Emma joined St Ann’s in early 2021 and has a background in administrative work in public relations and healthcare. She has a Bachelor of Nutritional Medicine and ran her own practice in the Adelaide Hills for some years. At St Ann’s Emma is responsible for managing various operations and administrative projects that the College undertakes and she works closely with all the staff at the College.

Paul is in Wednesday to Friday. His role at St Ann’s involves coordinating maintenance and building projects, liaising with contractors, managing accommodation requirements, overseeing the administrative team and supporting the Principal.
Paul, a native Kiwi, brings a wealth of experience from many years in the Aviation Industry. His last role being the State Manager SA and NT for Emirates Airline, based in Adelaide. He was attempting to retire and travel the world, before the pandemic put paid to those plans and he got snapped up by St Ann’s.
He’s been busy the last few months on significant refurbishment projects, including installing kitchens throughout the student corridors, refurbishing the library, and renovating Melbourne Street.

Leia is here every week day to assist the Principal and help students.
Originally from Brazil, Leia has been living in Adelaide since arriving as a student in 2016. She holds a Bachelor degree in Computer Science and this website is developed by her.
Leia has also helped with the development of our student Portal and to move the College from paper application process to a cloud solution site. After achieving her permanent residency in 2018, Leia took up her full-time position with St Ann’s. She is now an Australian citizen, officially welcomed to the country in May 2021.
Leia is the best person to speak to if you want to find some time for a meeting with Denise. She manages the St Ann’s application process and numerous other adhoc administrative duties and also designs many of St Ann’s marketing collaterals. Leia is your ‘go to’ for any tech issues, such as Wi-Fi connections.
Joanne works at St Ann’s Tuesday through Friday, 9am to 3pm.
Joanne is the St Ann’s Bookkeeper and joined the College in 2020. With an accounting and finance background in the hotel and hospitality industry Joanne manages the day-to-day finances of the College. She has been working in the finance industry for nearly 20 years and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Librarian | Manager of Student Services
As the College Librarian and Manager of Student Services, Heidi is here Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. She ensures relevant resources are available to support student learning across all disciplines. As an avid reader, she’s also happy to recommend engaging books for recreation!
Heidi completed her initial qualifications in Arts at the University of Adelaide, and subsequently attained a Graduate Diploma in Education and a Graduate Diploma in Information Studies. More recently Heidi was awarded a Masters of Humanities (Ancient History) from the University of New England. Heidi has been employed in University and Government library services.
Contact Heidi about any requests for books that she can order into the library – saves having to get on the waitlist if you miss out at your University library. Heidi also manages the academic monitoring program.
Marketing and Advancement Officer
Victoria works in the office Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
She spent over a decade working in London PR agencies, specialising in copywriting and media relations. She moved to Adelaide in 2016, working within the world of wine, and at a local marketing agency before joining St Ann’s in 2020.
Victoria oversees all marketing activity, including internal and external communications, PR and social media, schools’ outreach, and managing events and the speaker program. She writes the newsletter, all external publications and brochures and social media posts. Keep her informed of anything happening at the College or to you that might be of interest to the wider world – from academic and sports success. Please do also share with her any photos from St Ann’s events which she can share on social media and in the newsletter.
Peter ensures buildings, equipment and facilities are maintained in good order for the comfort and ease of students. He has worked for more than 40 years in a number of building industries. He has experience as a mechanic and electrician, has worked with plumbing and carpentry and has even maintained light aircraft.
In 2019 Vic celebrated 20 years of service at St Ann’s College, tending to the spacious grounds and nurturing the picturesque gardens. Vic has spent a large portion of his career in the gardening industry from manufacturing irrigation equipment to tending the gardens for the Adelaide Convention Centre.
