St Ann’s College is throwing open its doors to invite the wider Adelaide community to explore our rich historical heritage. Come join us beyond the brick walls, tucked in amongst a canopy of leafy greenery for a guided history tour.
Explore the cream-coloured, Spanish-style buildings, including the original building that instigated the College, which was bequeathed by Mr Sidney Wilcox in 1942. It was his generous donation, and request that the College be named after his mother, Ann, which set St Ann’s on its path. This house, and the surrounding garden, have since become the base from upon which our College has grown into a sprawling campus that houses 199 students.
The guided walking tour will last approximately 30 minutes, followed directly by morning tea provided by the College, which will be held in the Gilmore Sitting Room. This original room of the College was a filming location for the 2002 movie “Rabbit Proof Fence”.
Thank you for your interest in the St Ann’s College History Tour. This event is at capacity and bookings are now closed.
